Pepperdine Step Forward Day 2009
Mesa Peak Trail (Backbone Trail)
Malibu Creek State Park

This was a Pepperdine University Step Forward service day project. We had a bus load of about 27 ladies from a dorm come out and repair a section of the Backbone Trail. We split into 3 work teams. It was warm, but they did a fantastic job of lopping, tread repair, moving rocks, filling in erosion, cleaning water diversions, and building a rock retaining wall.
