Pepperdine Step Forward Day
Malibu Nature Preserve
September 8, 2007
About 40 Pepperdine students chose to do trail work with us for this annual event.
Significant progress was made on redefining one of the trails in the Preserve.
Work included building a retaining wall, re-routing a steep section, hauling rocks, lopping, and treadwork.
Jerry Mitcham of SMMTC and Peter Ireland of the Preserve led the 4 work teams, with assistance from
co-leaders Tom Siebert, Norm Simmonds, Burt Elliott, Pete Warden, and Liz Baumann.
