37th Annual Santa Monica Mountains Trail Days
Friday-Sunday April 27, 28, 29 - Point Mugu State Park
All Volunteers Welcome!
- Work Saturday or Sunday or BOTH! Late Friday afternoon we caravan to campsite - NO trail work scheduled.
- No trail work experience needed!
- There is a fun job for everyone!
- Help improve trails and parks for all of us to enjoy!
- For the safety of people and dogs - No Dogs, Please!
DIRECTIONS: Ventura Freeway to Wendy Drive in Newbury Park; South to Potrero Road, turn right; at Reino Road bear left to NPS service road (first driveway). Address is 4122 West Potrero Road. View on Google Maps.
Cars will be escorted into and out of the park at designated times:
Friday - 5 pm and 7 pm
Saturday - 7:30 am and 4:30 pm
Sunday - 7:30 am
Saturday - 4 pm and 9 pm
Sunday - 8:00 am and 2:30 pm
LUNCHES, BEVERAGES, SNACKS AND WATER, INSECT REPELLANT & SUN SCREEN.
Tools are provided, but you can bring a pick, shovel, Pulaski, McLeod, pruning saw, or long-handled loppers.

Saturday Night Barbecue Free FOR VOLUNTEERS. Please RSVP by Tuesday April 24.
Bring appetizers and beverages. Thank-you raffles Sat. night AND Sun. after work!
Gloves, hat, long pants, protective clothing*, sunscreen, lip balm, and work boots or sturdy shoes.
*to keep you warm/dry/comfortable as weather requires, protective eye wear/sunglasses, etc.
|CAMPING:||Bring your gear! BE GREEN, BRING YOUR OWN MUG! Free camping Friday and/or Saturday nights for Trail Days workers at the Danielson Multi-use Area located under the sycamores and oaks in the heart of Point Mugu State Park. |PATCHES:||Trail Days patches are available for $3.00 each. Patches are also available from previous years.|
