We met at 8:30 at Serrano and Cotharin roads and drove to the end of Serrano Road. We hiked about 1 mile to begin work where we left off last time. After Jason Finlay flagged the route, we weed whacked the last section of trail from the water pipe at the creek crossing up to the main trail, covering some 200 feet. We also performed tread work and some minor brushing on each side of the creek. We have now re-established all of the trails in Serrano Valley and our work there is done for now.
A minor project involved installing a new sign post and attaching the old signage from a rotted post which had probably been in place for 30 years or more.
